My lock decided to quit working at the worst possible time, and trying to use the warranty just made it more annoying. I reached out to customer service, but they kept sending me the same basic troubleshooting steps over and over, like we were stuck in a loop. Then they eventually just stopped replying. The whole thing dragged on forever, and in the end I still had to go buy a new lock. Maybe it was just terrible timing, but it was a really frustrating experience...

This was way harder to install than it needed to be. I spent almost two hours trying to get everything lined up, but the holes didn’t match and the instructions just made it more confusing. I’m kind of exhausted from having to chase down help for stuff that’s supposed to be simple, so I finally gave up and called a handyman. Definitely not an easy install.

Overall, it feels solid and I do like the weight of it. That said, the finish started scratching sooner than I expected, which was a bit disappointing. It works fine, but I wish it held up a little better cosmetically.

At first I was actually happy with this lock. It feels sturdy, looks decent, and when the app connects, it works like it should. Then out of nowhere, it’ll just drop offline like it’s mad at me or something. My Wi-Fi is close by, so I don’t really get why it keeps happening. One day it’s totally fine, the next I’m standing there messing with the app again. For what it costs, I expected way better reliability. I don’t hate it, but the connection issues make it hard to fully trust.

It works fine and does what it's supposed to, which is nice, but the battery drains way faster than I expected. I guess it's great if you enjoy keeping a charger nearby...

I bought this sometime in May, or maybe early June, and I never felt totally safe using it. The lock kept giving me issues, and I’d end up worrying about it pretty much every night.

I bought a Schlage lock directly from their site because I figured paying more would mean it would feel really high-end. It works fine and does the job, but it doesn’t feel that much better than cheaper locks I’ve used before. For the price, I expected something that felt a little more premium right out of the box.
Setup wasn’t awful, but the instructions could’ve been clearer, and the app features felt basic for what I paid. I also found myself a bit annoyed by how unclear the ownership side of things felt, like which account controls what, who has access, and how everything is supposed to transfer if needed. It’s not a bad lock, but between the price and the vague ownership setup, I’m not sure I’d buy it again

The app works for the most part, but it can be slow sometimes and the menus aren’t always easy to figure out. Compared to a lot of similar apps people use, this one feels a bit less polished. It gets the job done, but it could definitely be smoother
